Kirk Douglas and the Oscars
Aside from all the hits we’ve been getting from my Burning Man project, the most searched term on SCHWABELSTUDIO.com this week is “Kirk Douglas.” I photographed him for LASA in 2009 at his home in Beverly Hills, and the shoot went relatively un-noticed at the time, so it was a surprise to see it pop up again.
I live within earshot of the Kodak Theatre, but I missed the Oscars this year. I heard later about Mr. Douglas’s presentation of nominees for supporting actress being a highlight. The video and my photograph are below for your viewing pleasure.
