SchwabelStudio.com — now chock full of iPhone goodness

my iPhone rests upon an apple box
Just in time for 2010, and just in time for iPhones to start supporting Flash, thereby rendering it useless (OK, not really, but lets take bets for how soon that does happen) the web elves at Los Angeles Graphic Arts have created an uber-simple perfect iPhone-compatible version of my website for your viewing pleasure. Of course, this blog you are reading now works on the iPhone, but my seizure-inducing, very complicated (and also completely simple and beautiful at the same time) flash site (also designed and programmed by Los Angeles Graphic Arts) suffered from serious iPhone support. No longer is this the case. Point your mobile self over to http://schwabelstudio.com/ and your gorgeous hunk of polished plastic, metal and glass will automatically point itself to a site designed just for you. Just for all of you.
The site contains three portfolios of my work, separated into [vision] [light] and [detail]. I personally think the iPhone is the greatest portfolio I’ve ever had — the screen is beautiful, and I love glowing photographs. It’s actually a dilemma, I’d rather buy crazy high-resolution displays than make prints at this point (sadly, high-resolution displays as large as I’d like don’t appear to be available to the public just yet — I’m talking above 1080p on a 50″ display thank you very much)
I’m getting off track… Anyway, the iPhone site is up and it’s a great way to view my work, if you’ve just seen pieces here or there, the site as a complete body of work I think is exciting, and I love the simplicty of the iPhone interface.
Check it out at http://schwabelstudio.com on your iPhone!

Ian Roberts has nothing to do with this post but there you have it... Shooting Male is my book, by the way -- get it on Amazon! Shameless plug.
